This was our first visit to Lamu and we must say it was absolutely lovely.  The scenery, beach people and culture here has only been accentuated by what a nice stay Mangrove House has provided.  Mary, the owner, has such a beautiful soul and we love how passionate you are about your home.  The staff follow in your footsteps closely, with their unwavering hospitality.  Mangrove House has felt like a home away from home so much so that we are considering making Lamu home one day, but that’s a story for another day.
